Mateo Diaz Law Firm processes personal data to offer services, improve services and to communicate personally with you as a data subject. Processing of personal data takes place by all employees of

Mateo Diaz Law Firm, including persons who are affiliated with Mateo Diaz Law Firm on the basis of a student internship agreement.

  • Recruitment and selection.

 

Mateo Diaz Law Firm processes the following categories of personal data for the purpose of providing services or that have been provided by the person concerned on their own initiative:

  • Full first and last names;

  • Birthdate and place;

  • Address data;

  • Contact details (telephone numbers and email addresses etc. etc.);

  • Citizen service numbers (BSN);

  • Foreigner numbers (V numbers);

  • Identity proof data (passport and driver's license numbers, etc., etc.);

  • Data regarding funded legal aid (the Legal Aid Board).

 

Mateo Diaz Law Firm processes the above-mentioned personal data exclusively on the basis of the grounds mentioned below as referred to in Article 6 of the GDPR:

  • Legal obligation;

  • Execution of an assignment agreement;

  • Consent obtained from those involved; and

  • Legitimate interest.

 

Mateo Diaz Law Firm only shares your personal data with third parties to the extent necessary for the provision of services, taking into account the aforementioned purposes. This includes observing the practice by another lawyer, conducting an expertise assessment or engaging another third party on behalf of and on behalf of Mateo Diaz Law Firm, such as an IT supplier, but also providing your personal data in connection with (legal) proceedings or correspondence with the other party. In addition, Mateo Diaz Law Firm may provide personal data to a third party, such as a supervisory authority or other body with public authority, insofar as there is a legal obligation to do so. Mateo Diaz Law Firm only processes requests that relate to your own personal data.
