Yoleiny Mateo Diaz
Ms. Mr. Yoleiny Mateo Diaz studied Law at Utrecht University, where during her studies she not only gained practical experience at law firms and the legal aid clinic, but also founded and managed her own legal office in Amsterdam.
During this period she developed a broad knowledge of various legal areas and laid the foundation for her later specializations. In addition, she took criminal law courses at the University of Florida in the United States, as part of an exchange program.
In July 2016, mr. Mateo Diaz was sworn in as a lawyer. After her swearing in, she started her career at a small law firm, where she further specialized in criminal law, immigration law and administrative law cases. After having worked in Amsterdam for many years, she recently settled in Utrecht.
In 2021, mr. Mateo Diaz decided to set up her own law firm. As owner and founder, she focuses on providing legal assistance to clients in a variety of criminal, immigration and administrative law matters.
Mr. Mateo Diaz is known for her approachable, energetic and energetic approach. She always looks for the best solutions for her clients, with a personal and committed approach. Her fluent command of Spanish and English offers additional support to her international clients.

Mr. Mateo Diaz has registered the following main (and sub) areas of law in the legal areas register of the Dutch Bar Association:

In the field of criminal law, Mr. Mateo Diaz handles cases such as theft, (serious) violent crimes, forgery, violation of the Opium Act, violation of the Weapons and Ammunition Act, driving license cases as well as cases relating to organized crime.
In the field of immigration law, Mr. Mateo Diaz handles cases such as applications for residence permits (assessment against EU law, Chavez-Vilchez cases and MVV applications), requests for postponement of departure on medical grounds, requests for lifting of a declaration of undesirability, procedures against entry bans/declarations of undesirability, withdrawal of residence permits, rejection of applications for a residence permit or a short-stay visa.
Based on this registration, she is obliged to obtain ten training credits each calendar year in each registered main area of law in accordance with the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.
Law firm Mateo Diaz does not receive third-party funds within the meaning of the Regulation on the Bar and is therefore exempt from the obligation to have a third-party funds foundation available. Law firm Mateo Diaz does not receive third-party funds on the office account under any circumstances.
